NCGLE calls for inquiry into SADF "aversion" therapy
The Archbishop of Cape Town and a cross section of South African organisations and individuals have joined the call for a judicial inquiry into human rights abuses by the apartheid army from the 1970s till as late as 1994. The NCGLE has also released information on the former South African army's programme of "curing" gays allegedly with aversion therapy, gender reassignment surgery and hormone treatments.
