|
oringberg is situated in the Swartland wheat fields near the Great Berg River and the Koringberg mountain. Just off the N7 highway, it is on almost the same latitude as Saldanah Bay to the west and not far from the Atlantic Ocean. It is a flatland area with rich mineral deposits. The town itself started as a railway nodal point from which its wheat yields were despatched.
